World Wide Cancer Prayer Day

Did you know that today is World Wide Cancer Prayer Day?  According to this website:

The [participating] ministers will pray for healing for people who have cancer, prevention for people who do not have cancer, comfort for people who have lost someone to cancer and wisdom for cancer researchers, physicians and nurses…

I am praying for my friend Hannah, who is struggling with lymphoma.  Who are you praying for?

    Hello Becky,
Thank you for your prayers today—and everyday.

I had no idea this was world-wide cancer prayer day. We have a lady who goes to our church, and her husband was told a few weeks ago that he had cancer in his throat. We have been praying for him. He went back to the doctors this past week for more testing, and they didn’t find any cancer! We give God the glory. I will pray for your friend Hannah.

Thanks so much, Carol. She’s been getting transfusions of blood and platelets almost daily for a month now. She can use all the prayer she can get!
