The Democratic Process at Work

The hubby and I went to vote after school today.  We got to the polls at 3; we left at 5:25.  I have been voting for 32 years, and I have never seen a turnout like this, not even when I lived in a much larger city many years ago.  I must say the crowd was congenial, and it was a thrill to watch the democratic process at work.  How grateful I am that we can cast a ballot!  Although I objected to a headline I saw the other day which said that the world was waiting for its president, I know our election matters all over the globe.  I rest in the fact that God is in control.

God sets up kings and deposes them and gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. Daniel 2:21

    Hi Becky,

I too, am glad for the privilege to be able to vote. Now we must leave the results in His hands and know that He still has everything under control.
