Silence

The Lenten devotional booklet we got from church talked about the Saturday before Easter being a day of silence.  I haven’t thought about it that way recently, but I have been pondering.  Most of the time, the day before Easter is a day of preparation for me, but for those new Christians, it was as silent as our world was after 9/11 or the assassination of President Kennedy.

Today I have a houseful of people, but I will, I think, still wonder about the fear in which the disciples spent that day.
