I have been married to a now-retired railroader for thirty-one years and have two children, a boy and a girl, one daughter-in-law and two grandsons. My faith in God is the most important thing in the world to me, Next comes my family. I have a BA in Linguistics and English certifications which I used, up until recently, to teach. I seem to have found a niche in Special Education, but I am not up for more schooling so I have chosen instead to take a job as a paraprofessional serving Special Education students. My favorite authors are Madeleine L’Engle, Phillip Yancey and Francine Rivers. I like to read and obviously to blog. I get a lot out of walking and cruising (in a car) when walking is not feasible. The hubby and I recently rediscovered biking, which is also pretty nice. I also have rheumatoid arthritis which, oddly enough, I think has made me a better person.

I am not sure how I happened upon your blog, Becky, but I have enjoyed reading it so much and “getting to know you” a little. I will be back often, as I have added you to my blog list. The Lord’s very best to you as we begin this new year!
Thanks for coming by, Jewel. I will make sure to visit your blog as well.

Hey, Becky. I’m so glad that my testimony has helped you in your walk with the Lord. I do highly recommend “The Ragamuffin Gospel.” Everyone I know who has read it has been radically changed — they suddenly realize that they are loveable because God has declared us so! From what I’ve read, you seem like a lovely lady, and I enjoy getting to know you through the blog world. Blessings!
